A Stroke of Magic is a family-run small business based in Ballina, County Mayo, Ireland.

We officially opened our shop on the 27th of August in 2022, but our love of upcycling furniture goes back much further. Being creative and transforming old, worn pieces that would otherwise end up in landfill has always been a passion of ours - so we decided to turn it into a business.

Our goal is to help inspire creativity and encourage others to see beyond the old and worn furniture to the potential it holds.

We occasionally run workshops and attend demonstrations for various groups to showcase what is possible with a brush and a bit of paint.

We are one of three Fusion Mineral Paint retailers in Ireland. Our shop stocks a wide variety of Fusion Mineral Paint, from over seventy different shades to top coats and stains and finishing oils - all of which you can purchase in shop or here from our website.
