Polyvine Varnish Satin

SATIN Finish for depth and a soft sheen.

Polyvine’s Decorators’ Varnish is the go-to chioce, long-lasting finish.

It’s perfect for use on emulsion paint, wallpaper and other surfaces, and gives long-term protection against finger marks, stains, scuffing and colour fading.

UV blocking and absorption reduce aging and deterioration of surfaces.

Ensure the product is well mixed but do not shake.

Apply sparingly, brush out well using a good quality brush. Apply the first coat and allow to dry.

Apply a second coat.

On new wood and porous surfaces dilute the first coat 10% with water.

Lightly sand wood in between applications to remove any raising of the grain that may have occurred.

For a high level of durability and stain resistance, apply two coats of clear satin and one coat of clear dead flat.

Drying Time: 15 min to 1 hour, depending on temperature

Cure Time: 5 days, protect the surface from water and steam for 5 days after application

Recoat Time: 2hrs - 4 hrs, depending on temperature
